Description
This project was established on May 26, 1999 to provide information and research assistance in the area of international judicial organizations. The website currently contains 300+ individual pages on 6 different institutions (5 in English and 3 in Russian). It also contains full text of
150+ decisions and other documents rendered by various international courts. The website gets 2000 to 3000 different visitors each month with 12000 to 16000 hits on its pages
(see
webstats). It is the
ninth version of the website (see
snapshots). In addition to
providing information about institution to general public, many
individuals obtained direct research assistance from the webmaster (see
list). There are
dozens of institutions and individuals that link to worldcourts.com.
These include universities, professors' homepages, government
agencies and websites created to supplement books. The website has
been also cited in several academic articles. (see
