I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal") and Pre-Appeal Judge in the present case,
NOTING “Milomir Stakic’s Re-Filed-Appellant’s Brief in Support of his Notice of Appeal", filed confidentially by counsel for Milomir Stakic ("Defence") on 9 March 2004 ("Appellant’s Brief");
CONSIDERING that, at the Status Conference held on 21 June 2005, the Defence was ordered to file a public version of the Appellant’s Brief within two weeks from the date of the Status Conference ("21 June Order");
NOTING "Milomir Stakic’s Re-Filed-Appellant’s Brief in Support of his Notice of Appeal (In accordance with the Appeals Chamber’s Decisions of 23 February 2004 and 22 June 2005)", filed by the Defence on 7 July 2005 as a "Public Version-Redacted" ("7 July Filing");
CONSIDERING that the 7 July Filing still contains confidential information and that, therefore, it should be treated as confidential;
REQUEST the Registry to mark the 7 July Filing as confidential;
CONSIDERING that, as of today’s date, the Defence has still not complied with the 21 June Order;
ORDER the Defence to file a public version of the Appellant’s Brief by 26 July 2005.
