I, Judge Liu Daqun, Presiding Judge of Trial Chamber I (the "Chamber") of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("the Tribunal");

NOTING the President’s Order transferring a case from Trial Chamber II to Trial Chamber I under Rule 19(A) and 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("the Rules") dated 18 June 2003, whereby he assigned the case The Prosecutor vs. Darko Mrđa to this Chamber composed of Judges Amin El Mahdi, Alphons Orie and Joacquín Martín Canivell;

PURSUANT to Rule 65ter(A) of the Rules;
