I, O-GON KWON, Judge of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

HAVING BEEN DESIGNATED as pre-trial Judge in this case by virtue of an Order of the Trial Chamber dated 28 April 2003,

BEING SEISED of the Confidential Application for Leave to File a Reply and Motion for an Extension of Time ("Motion"), filed by the defence of Naser Oric ("Defence"), on 6 June 2003,

NOTING that the Trial Chamber is currently seised of a Confidential Application for Provisional Release filed by the Defence on 21 May 2003, and the Confidential Prosecution’s Response to the Defence Application for Provisional Release ("Response"), filed by the Prosecution on 3 June 2003,

NOTING the arguments set in the Motion which include, inter alia, the "very large number of allegations of an extremely serious nature" made against Naser Oric, and the need for the Defence "to travel to contact witnesses and to search the relevant archives" and to translate them,

CONSIDERING that it is in the interest of justice to grant the Defence leave to reply to the Response and enlarge the seven-day time limit provided in Rule 127 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal (Rules)

PURSUANT TO Article 21(4)(b) of the Statute and Rules 54, 126bis and 127 of the Rules,

HEREBY GRANT the Motion and ALLOW the Defence fourteen days from the filing of the Response to file its reply.
