THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),
NOTING the confidential ex parte memorandum dated 18 November 2002 addressed to the Trial Chamber by the Registrar of the International Tribunal, acting pursuant to his powers under Rule 33 (B) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules"), in which the attention of the Trial Chamber is drawn to a letter from Ms. Emma Bonino, member of the European Parliament dated 15 October 2002, addressing the veracity of a statement made by the accused in his opening remarks in relation to the Croatia phase of the proceedings and attributed by the accused to Ms. Bonino in her role as European Commissioner ("the Bonino letter")
NOTING that Ms. Bonino is not a party to these proceedings,
CONSIDERING, however, the matters raised by the Registrar in the memorandum,

HEREBY ORDERS as follows:
