THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

Proprio motu,

NOTING the Scheduling Order issued by the Trial Chamber on 19 April 2000 scheduling a status conference in this matter for 3 p.m. on Wednesday 28 June 2000, requiring all accused and their counsel to appear ("the Scheduling Order"),

NOTING the Scheduling Order for Hearing on Defence Motion for Judicial Assistance issued by the Trial Chamber on 1 June 2000, scheduling a hearing on Friday 23 June 2000 on a motion filed by counsel for the accused, Stevan Todorovic ("the Hearing on the Todorovic Motion"),

NOTING the Orders granting Provisional Release issued by the Trial Chamber on 4 April 2000 and 29 May 2000 granting provisional release to the accused Miroslav Tadic, Simo Zaric and Milan Simic,

CONSIDERING that the Trial Chamber does not find it necessary for the three accused to return to the seat of the Tribunal to attend the status conference or the Hearing on the Todorovic Motion, provided that all three are represented at those sessions by their duly assigned counsel,

PURSUANT to Rule 54 of the Rules,

HEREBY VARIES the Scheduling Order and ORDERS that the accused Miroslav Tadic, Simo Zaric and Milan Simic are not required to attend in person for hearing of the Todorovic Motion to be held on Friday 23 June 2000 or for the status conference to be held on Wednesday 28 June 2000 but may be present through their duly authorised legal representatives, as assigned by the Registrar of the International Tribunal.
