THIS TRIAL CHAMBER of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),

NOTING the filing of a second amended indictment against Dragoljub Kunarac and Radomir Kovac on 6 September 1999,

NOTING the "Motion to Hold Preliminary Motions in Abeyance", filed on 7 September 1999 by the Prosecutor,

CONSIDERING that the second amended indictment might raise issues that need to be addressed, that the two accused have not yet appeared together before the Trial Chamber and the need to ensure a fair and expeditious trial,

PURSUANT to Rule 54 and Rule 65 bis of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence ("Rules"),

HEREBY ORDERS that

(1) The next Status Conference be held on Friday, 24 September 1999 at 16:00.
(2) The filing of preliminary motions and responses relating to Radomir Kovac under Rule 72 of the Rules be held in abeyance pending the Status Conference.
