THE TRIAL CHAMBER, proprio motu

NOTING that, at the last status conference, the Trial Chamber indicated to the parties that the next status conference would be held on Tuesday 5 May 1998,

NOTING the various motions and responses filed by the parties in this matter, including Motions challenging the form of the indictment filed on behalf of all the accused, an Application For Provisional Release and an Application For Separate Trial on behalf of the accused, Vlatko Kupreskic, filed on 1 and 17 April 1998 respectively, and the Prosecutor’s Motion To Delay Disclosure Of Witness Statements And Identities filed on 6 April 1998,

NOTING the Order For Filing Of Motions issued by the Trial Chamber on 15 December 1997 regulating the filing of and response to motions in this matter, which provides that there will be no oral argument on motions unless specifically requested by either party and approved by the Trial Chamber,

NOTING that, pursuant to that Order, the responses of the Defence to the Prosecutor’s Motion To Delay Disclosure Of Witness Statements And Identities were due to be filed on Monday 20 April 1998 and that no request for extension of time has been received on behalf of any of the accused,

NOTING FURTHER that, pursuant to that Order, the Office of the Prosecutor ("Prosecution") has until 1 May 1998 to respond to the Application For Separate Trial on behalf of the accused, Vlatko Kupreskic,

PURSUANT to Rule 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal

HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

    (1) The Defence shall file their responses to the Prosecutor’s Motion To Delay Disclosure Of Witness Statements And Identities no later than Friday 8 May 1998;

(2)    The Trial Chamber will hear oral argument on the Prosecutor’s Motion To Delay Disclosure Of Witness Statements And Identities on Friday 15 May 1998 at 9 a.m., such hearing to be followed by a closed session status conference;

(3)    Subject to further order, all other pending motions shall be disposed of by the Trial Chamber without hearing oral argument.
