THE TRIAL CHAMBER,

CONSIDERING the indictment against MILAN KOVACEVIC submitted by the Prosecutor and confirmed on 13 March 1997 by Judge Odio Benito,

CONSIDERING the transfer of the accused to the Tribunal on 10 July 1997,

CONSIDERING the initial appearance of the accused on 30 July 1997 before the Trial Chamber,

PURSUANT TO Rule 64

HEREBY ORDERS the detention on remand of MILAN KOVACEVIC and enjoins the Commanding Officer of the United Nations Detention Unit in The Hague to detain the accused until further order.
