Counsel for the Accused:

THE TRIAL CHAMBER

HAVING CONSIDERED the request submitted by Dr. Milan Bulajic on 13 November 1996 for leave to appear as amicus curiae in this case,

NOTING that on 7 November 1996 both parties concluded their submissions of evidence,

NOTING that the Office of the Prosecutor does not support the application,

NOTING also that Dr. Milan Bulajic offered his services to the Defence and that the Defence chose not to call him as an expert witness, and

CONCLUDING that granting the request at this stage of the proceedings would not assist the Trial Chamber in the proper determination of the case,

HEREBY REJECTS the application of Dr. Milan Bulajic to appear as amicus curiae.
