Protocol on the
Statute of the African Court of Justice and Human Rights, adopted on
July 01, 2008 Protocol of the Court of Justice of the African Union, adopted July 01, 2003 (in force February 11, 2009) Constitutive Act of the African Union, adopted November 07, 2000 (in force May 26, 2001) CJAU has been merged with ACJHR per Art. 1 of the Protocol on the Statute of the African Court of Justice and Human Rights. Since this occured prior to the CJAU Protocol coming into force, CJAU has never actually functioned as a court. |
